Psychologist Carl Jung explored using mandala artwork as a tool to study the human psyche. He referred to mandalas as “the psychological expression of the totality of self.”
Because chakra dance has its roots in Jungian psychology, it makes sense that after a chakra dance session, we take a moment to create our own mandala artwork to help integrate anything that may have surfaced for us during the dance.
